Born in El Paso, Texas, Dale Pierce now resides in Syracuse, New York. Dale taught courses in b&w darkroom techniques, advanced printing and toning. Dale also conducts workshops in her studio at Delavan Center, Syracuse, NY.
A portrait photographer, Dale shot her first male nude in 1997.
“Body of Work” at the Metaphoresty gallery, 1999, in Syracuse was the first exhibition in Syracuse to feature male nudes. It was the most financially successful show at the gallery.
Dale’s photographs are in the permanent collections of Leslie Lohman GAF, Radiant Light Gallery, Portland Maine, as well as private collectors.
