ARTIST STATEMENT
It was always about the light. Even before I picked up a camera. There was an awareness of the different qualities of light. The strong, warm light of Winter. The soft, romantic light of Summer.

There has always been elements of surprise and wonder associated with photography for me. The best images happen when I take risks. Every image is a story. Pictures that create a question in the viewers mind are exciting. To capture the inner being of a person, whether a portrait, or a nude, is a gift.

My challenge is to find a new way to present familiar subjects in a unique and exciting format.
